Contemporary Thought – The Simulacrum of Happiness

Synopsis

Part of the series “Contemporary Thinking”, the episode “Simulacra of Happiness – How We Camouflage the end of Suffering” addresses an important theme for everyone: happiness. Or how people look for life means to reach it.

Through the testimony of historian Leandro Karnal, philosopher Luiz Felipe Pondé, writer Mario Sergio Cortella, TV host Marcelo Tas and journalist Clóvis de Barros Filho, we have a snapshot of what we think is happiness today, and what we value in our lives, in this incessant pursuit of the human being.

How the virtual way of life, through social networks, currently leads us to wrong ways to be happy. And what we are building from this for the future of humanity.
