Synopsis

Based on significant examples of “immaterial culture” in Brazil, this documentary aims to show how the internationalization of steel is and the disappearance of pepper in Bahian cuisine, for example, may be unnoticed effects of the great catastrophe of globalization, announced decades ago, for the early 21st century. Nowadays, in the third wave of globalization, it is possible to exemplify unseen and unnoticeable harmful effects of this shift from local to global in the immaterial culture that unites a local community.
